Supporting OS Open Zoomstack

OS Open Zoomstack from Ordnance Survey is available now in GeoPackage and Vector Tiles (MBtiles) formats. Ordnance Survey and Cadcorp are running a webinar on 7th March where attendees will learn:

Steps for successfully loading OS Open Zoomstack into GIS and web mapping software
How to manage OS Open Zoomstack and apply different styles
OS Open Zoomstack use cases including open data mashups

Keeping residents informed

Local Authorities across the UK implement web mapping to keep their residents informed during wintry weather conditions. This can include gritting routes, salt bin locations and waste collection schedules.

Newport City Homes migrates to cloud hosted web mapping

Newport City Homes first started using Cadcorp web mapping technology in 2010. At that time, the software was installed and hosted on their local infrastructure and Newport City Homes managed both the application and data. Following Cadcorp’s announcement of a cloud migration path, Newport City Homes saw the opportunity to resolve an internal resource challenge.
